Sleep Training for Shift Workers: Shifting Your Circadian Rhythm

Details

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 19 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. At Happy Minds, I provide therapy and assessment services in addition to operating Bright Minds Sleep Psychology where I offer corporate sleep programs.  I have created an e-Learning program exclusively for shift workers which is accessible any time of day from any device. You can find out more about Sleep Training for Shift Workers on my website www.sleepforshiftwork.com I have worked in both private and public settings as a psychologist in the U.S. and in Canada. I am currently registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

I utilize cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness in my treatment with clients. My therapy sessions are often experiential and behavioural and involve creating goals, providing you with education and teaching you real skills that we practice right in session. I have been treating chronic insomnia using CBT-I with much client success since 2008! Often you will leave with something to practice before your next session as well.  Sessions are collaborative and our aim is always getting you closer to the life you want to be living! You may contact me through my private practice www.happyminds.ca website.

I offer psychological assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. Assessments are used to identify if your child is eligible for gifted programming or an educational plan for a learning disorder, attention deficit or an emotional need, such as anxiety.  Teachers, therapists, and physicians often use the report findings in order to target interventions and create a plan to support the child at school and home.
