Catherine is a highly specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working in the field of sleep medicine, with over 20 years of experience in the NHS. She is the Lead Therapist in the Insomnia and Behavioural Sleep Medicine Department at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, providing clinical leadership in the delivery of evidence-based psychological interventions for sleep disorders.

In addition to her clinical work, Catherine teaches the two-day professional training programme in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), equipping healthcare professionals with the skills and confidence to deliver effective, evidence-based treatment.

She has specialist interests in nightmares and in sleep across the female lifespan, including menopause-related sleep disturbance. She is invited to speak at conferences on these topics, sharing expertise in the psychological treatment of nightmare disorder and in supporting women experiencing sleep disruption during midlife and hormonal transition. She is also a member of the British Sleep Society and sits on their Educational Committee.
