I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Registered Nurse serving clients across British Columbia. I have completed a 3-day certificate training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) for chronic insomnia and integrate CBT-I into my broader clinical work supporting sleep and overall wellbeing. With 20 years of nursing experience, I bring a strong foundation in health education, behaviour change, and mind–body care to my counselling practice. My CBT-I training included adaptations for individuals experiencing trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and menopause-related sleep disturbances. I’m particularly interested in how emotional patterns and nervous system regulation can affect sleep. I work collaboratively with clients to address unhelpful sleep patterns, reduce cognitive and physiological arousal, and build sustainable habits that support restorative sleep. I welcome adults who are looking for structured, skills-based support for chronic insomnia within a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
