Struggling with sleep? Constantly feel like your mind won't "shut off" at bedtime, or that your sleep is "broken"? Have you tried everything, from sleep hygiene to melatonin?
As a behavioral sleep therapist at Renew Behavioral Health in Colorado, I specialize in evidence-based sleep therapy interventions to help clients achieve long-term improvements in sleep. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and acceptance and commitment therapy for insomnia (ACT-I). These interventions address the root causes of insomnia and chronic sleep problems and strengthening natural sleep processes, not by masking symptoms.
Renew Behavioral Health clients often feel exhausted from poor sleep, and they are often frustrated with ineffective sleep medications and generic sleep hygiene advice. Many have been struggling with sleep problems for years. My work is tailored to you, your sleep history, and your goals to restore your sleep and ensure sustainable improvement.
In addition to insomnia and problems initiating or maintaining sleep, I also work with clients with other sleep problems. This includes cognitive behavioral therapy for nightmares (CBT-N), the gold standard and evidence-based treatment for chronic nightmares and nightmare disorder, and people who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorders (in coordination with physical health providers).
Services are structured, goal-oriented, and typically brief (6-12 sessions). I work with clients across the entire state of Colorado via telehealth, and I accept many major insurance plans.
Chronic sleep problems can be exhausting, even excruciating. You may also feel hopeless, constantly worrying how your sleep is impacting your mood, daily functioning, relationships, and your health. Improvement is possible. Reach out if you are ready to shift from managing sleep problems to addressing the root cause.
