You're tired of the way things are - perhaps literally. I’m a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of specialty experience in behavioral sleep medicine, as the co-director of a pediatric sleep practice at an academic medical center. In my private practice, I provide telehealth services throughout MA and RI to support children, teens, young adults and parents with sleep problems (including difficulty falling and staying asleep, anxiety about sleep, nighttime fears and nightmares, co-sleeping issues, and daytime sleepiness.

I blend cutting-edge, solution-focused approaches with a compassionate and non-judgmental style to collaborate with you on the best ways to help you and your family. My approach is flexible and tailored to you and your goals. I use treatments that are supported by research, primarily drawing from cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches (e.g. CBT-I, CBT-N, IRT, graduated extinction, etc).

I received my PhD from the University of Denver, did my internship at Children's National Medical Center, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School. I am a professor at Brown Medical School, where I train the next generation of psychologists and physicians in how to best treat sleep disorders. In addition, I conduct research to help the field learn more about helping people achieve better sleep. I am licensed in MA and RI.
