Danielle Cooper, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and founder of the Center of Behavioral Therapy and Consultation for OCD and Anxiety (CBTCOA). Dr. Cooper has unique expertise in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments for OCD, PTSD and anxiety. Given the high comorbidity between sleep difficulties and anxiety-related disorders and the effectiveness of brief behavioral sleep medicine interventions, Dr. Cooper also specializes in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) and nightmares (CBT-N). Prior to founding the CBTCOA, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship and was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and the Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for OCD at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. She is a certified clinician, consultant, and supervisor in PE for PTSD and ERP for OCD. She has completed trainings, supervision, and consultation for both CBT-I and CBT-N, such as from sleep experts at multiple VAs, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Tulsa. Dr. Cooper currently offers telehealth appointments to patients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.
