I’ve been a fully licensed psychologist in Tennessee for over 30 years and through PSYPACT hold an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). This means I am permitted to provide psychology services via telehealth to clients residing in most states (PSYPACT participating states are found in blue on this map: https://psypact.gov/mpage/psypactmap). I have extensive experience in clinical work, presentations, and training across private practice and government settings. I’m currently a full-time telehealth psychologist with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and my private practice appointments are exclusively telehealth, scheduled during weekday evenings (5 PM ET or later) with occasional appointments during the day on weekends.

I hold a certification through the Department of Veterans Affairs for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) to treat chronic insomnia. I specialize in focused psychotherapy for insomnia or sleep difficulties, anxiety, stress, chronic pain (also called persistent pain), and depression. If more than one of these issues are present for you (that’s not at all uncommon, by the way), our goals will take this interconnection into account. Our work will be grounded in findings from neuroscience about the nervous system’s primary role in effective growth and change - and hey, it’s cooler than it sounds!
