Dr. Harb is a licensed clinical psychologist working with individuals with a range of life difficulties in her practice and accepts major insurance plans. She has extensive training and many years of experience in the use of CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I) as well as the treatment of nightmares with imagery rehearsal therapy (CBT-N). More than 10 years of experience with veterans with posttraumatic difficulties at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center allowed Dr. Harb to treat sleep problems in the context of PTSD as well as primary insomnia. In addition to working with sleep difficulties, Dr. Harb is experienced in treating anxiety and depression as well as helping clients thrive in the face of life stressors such as medical treatments or interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Harb’s approach to therapy is compassionate, goal-oriented and flexible, and personalized to the specific needs of her clients.

Dr. Harb is also an active researcher and has presented her clinical and research work at international conferences and published articles in a number of scientific peer-reviewed journals. She was a member of the recent expert panel on CBT for nightmares, has authored a nightmare treatment manual combining Imagery Rehearsal and CBT-I strategies, and recently participated in the publication of a manual for the treatment of post-trauma nightmares in refugee children.
