I am a Family Nurse Practitioner currently working as a Psychiatric Provider. I have a diverse background including Women's Health, Primary Care and Holistic health care approaches. I am also a retired Navy Reservist. As a medical provider I have a unique perspective on sleeping issues. Along with behavioral health issues, I am able to evaluate whether medications or chronic conditions are contributing to insomnia. Mental disorders such as PTSD, anxiety and depression commonly effect sleep patterns. I believe that sleep is the cornerstone to mental and physical health as well as healthy aging.
