Teresa Bobo New!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 26 years of service in the U.S. Army National Guard. My training was completed at the Veterans Administration (VA), where I received specialized training and supervision in multiple evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). My approach to care is integrative, holistic, and transpersonal — attending to the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

My delivery of CBT-I is informed by an integrative and person-centered framework. I recognize that sleep disturbance rarely exists in isolation — it is often interwoven with anxiety, depression, trauma, and deeply held beliefs about one's capacity to rest and recover. I meet each client where they are, collaboratively identifying the cognitive and behavioral patterns that perpetuate insomnia and building skills to shift them.

I draw on the VA-trained CBT-I protocol while integrating mindfulness-based, somatic, and transpersonal approaches where clinically appropriate, honoring the full complexity of each person's experience.
