I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in behavioral sleep medicine. I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) under Dr. Donn Posner and am currently pursuing the Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM) credential. I’m a member of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine (SBSM).
At Brody Wellbeing, PLLC, I treat adults with chronic insomnia, circadian rhythm disruption, nightmare disorder, and CPAP adherence challenges. I also work with patients whose insomnia presents alongside anxiety, depression, or ADHD — and I’m experienced in adapting CBT-I protocols for these comorbid presentations. My approach integrates sleep restriction, stimulus control, cognitive restructuring, relaxation training, and sleep hygiene education within a structured but individualized framework.
I provide telehealth services throughout North Carolina, with in-person availability in Asheville. I’m in-network with Aetna, BCBS, United/Optum, and Medicare, and offer superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Referring providers are welcome to contact me directly.
