Deirdre Conroy, PhD obtained her PhD in psychology from the City University of New York and her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Addiction Research Center. She is a clinical sleep psychologist boarded by the American Board of Sleep Medicine, Behavioral Sleep Medicine, and American Board of Professional Psychology. She worked as the Clinical Director of Behavioral Sleep Medicine at Michigan Medicine before starting her practice Deirdre Conroy, PhD, PLLC. Her research has focused on the relationship between insomnia and substance use disorders including alcohol and cannabis. Her clinical focus is insomnia, circadian rhythms, and medication discontinuation.
