Michelle Drerup
Michelle Drerup, Psy.D. DBSM, FSBSM is Associate Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and Director of Behavioral Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center. She earned her doctorate in psychology from Indiana State University, completed her intership at the Cincinnati VA, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in clinical health psychology at Cleveland Clinic. She is passionate about training, and mentoring others to help expand the field of behavioral sleep medicine. Her current research focuses on exploring the efficacy of web-based and innovative delivery models for interventions for sleep in complex medical populations and implementation of population health management strategies for insomnia. She was honored by the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine (SBSM) with the 2021 Outstanding Innovation in Behavioral Sleep Medicine Service Delivery Award as well as being named a Fellow of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine in 2023.Profession
