I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (since 2005) with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), including a six-month competency-based program through Stanford University.
I’ve lived with both chronic insomnia and sleep apnea, so I know how discouraging and overwhelming sleep challenges can be. What changed everything for me was learning how to approach sleep differently—not by forcing it, but by shifting my relationship with worry, racing thoughts, and sleepless nights.
In our work together, we’ll uncover the habits and thought patterns that perpetuate your insomnia, and I’ll guide you in using evidence-based strategies to restore more natural, restorative sleep. Along the way, you’ll also build skills to handle nighttime anxiety with more ease, reconnect with what matters most in your life, and move toward sleep with less struggle and more confidence.
I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. I also offer face-to-face sessions in Sugar Land, TX. I accept insurance and self-pay. Weekend sessions are available.
