I have a masters degree (MS) in clinical psychology with an emphasis on health psychology. I worked at the Mayo Clinic for 13 years in their Behavioral Medicine/Health Psychology section of the Dept of Psychiatry and Psychology. While at Mayo, Peter Hauri, PhD was my supervisor and I was therefore informally trained in CBT-I over the many years we worked together before his retirement. I have also attended CBT-I lectures over the past 25 years. I specialize in working with adults who have chronic medical conditions (pain, diabetes, seizures, stroke, gastrointestinal disorders, etc), anxiety disorders, stress and sleep (primarily insomnia and CPAP adherence) and use CBT and Motivational Interviewing approaches to treatment.
