Dr. Elaine Hess is a clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology, licensed in Texas and PSYPACT certified and is able to see patients virtually and in-person at her office in Houston, TX. She is passionate about behavioral sleep treatment due to her own struggles with insomnia, and specifically uses CBT-I. She's also verse in the evidence-based therapies of CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based approaches. Dr. Hess received her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, completed an internship at Denver Health and a post-doc at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System with emphases in palliative care, rehab psych and behavioral sleep treatment.
