Meg Danforth

Dr. Meg Danforth grew up in Raleigh, graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School, and attended Appalachian State University as a Chancellor’s Scholar. She completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Purdue University in 2004, then returned to the Triangle to complete her clinical training at the Durham VA Medical Center. In 2006, Dr. Danforth joined the faculty of Duke University School of Medicine, where she worked for 15 years as a clinician-educator. As the director of the Duke Behavioral Sleep Medicine Clinic, she provided advanced clinical care to adults with sleep disorders and comorbid conditions, such depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain.
