In my current role, I provide training and consultation on evidence-based psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Brief Behavioral Treatment of Insomnia (BBTI) and for circadian-rhythm sleep wake disorders, as well as other health psychology treatment such as cognitive behavioral therapy for chronic pain. I became interested in behavioral sleep medicine including insomnia treatment in graduate school, and completed research and training under the supervision of both a sleep medicine physician and a clinical health psychologist. I provide telehealth therapy for insomnia (for those located in Oregon and Washington state) - and provide therapy for those who have reoccurring nightmares - and used to have a group for people with re-occuring nightmares. My education is CBT-I - and also includes Image Rehearsal Therapy IRT) for nightmares AND Exposure, Relaxation, and Re-scripting Therapy (ERRT) which is a cognitive behavioral treatment for trauma-related nightmares.
