I have been offering CBT-I since 2016, and I have been licensed since 2008. I see self-referred clients for insomnia and nightmare treatment, as well as take clients who are referred from sleep physicians and other therapists. Because part of my practice is for the treatment of severe anxiety, I also tend to see clients who have both anxiety and insomnia, including those who have previously tried CBT-I and not completed treatment because of complex fators, such as needing treatment modifications due to trauma, medical illness, or other complicating factors.
I have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Penn State University. More can be found about my background at https://www.ayamapsychotherapy.com/about-therapist
