I'm also the author of Become Your Child's Sleep Coach: The Bedtime Doctor's 5-Step Guide, Ages 3-10. I've been treating people with insomnia with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) for more than twenty years. Her practice has included over 25 years in private family practice, working at the Salt Lake City Veteran's Administration Medical Center and seeing in-home patients via house calls. Meg Danforth

Dr. Meg Danforth grew up in Raleigh, graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School, and attended Appalachian State University as a Chancellor’s Scholar. She completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Purdue University in 2004, then returned to the Triangle to complete her clinical training at the Durham VA Medical Center. In 2006, Dr. Danforth joined the faculty of Duke University School of Medicine, where she worked for 15 years as a clinician-educator.
